They only announced the japanese prices but it translates to $250 for the 8gb version and $300 for the premium 32gb one.
Edit: Nevermind my understanding of the Yen's value was off, it seems it's closer to $300 and $350.

The DS Lite was the one that made the biggest difference to me.
Also, there's not a PS3 Slim. The original model was called by it's full name 'Playstation 3', while the current one is just called 'PS3'. Nowhere in the box does it say 'PS3 Slim', so they can still use that name in the next model.
Goldeneye. I'm not sure if that game aged really poorly or it was never that good in the first place. All I know is that the couple of times I tried to get into it, it seemed clunky as hell.

What made 2007 so great waas that many of those games were new IPs, like Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, Portal, Crysis, and Uncharted.

I just wanted to see either a Metroid game, a 3d Mario, or Zelda. Either one of them would have convince me of buying the Wii U. In comparison, by this time in the Wii launch they had already shown Zelda TP, Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3. Zelda was out at launch, and the other two came out the following year, at which point I bought the system. Now I'm not even sure any of the three will be out before 2014.
